When we were growing up my brother, sister and myself did not know a lot about our father’s life in the East Coast, but he did mention that he was a cook in the bush (logging camp) at the age of 15. Growing up Dad made some of the foods he learned to cook while at the logging camp. In the coming weeks I will try to recreate some of the recipes he brought from the East Coast.
