Do People Really Understand

I recieved an artical from another organic grower about the number of farms closing What are people thinking.  The problem is that people don’t see what is really  going on. If they only knew the true meaning of buying local. Going to your local big chain store doesn’t mean your buying local.   It just means going to a local store near you. Unfortunately there are a number of Canadian farmers that have had to close as well as in the US. AlI I have to say to the people who think that they are getting a better deal from your local chain store please think again. Quantity and cheap prices over quality. Don’t complain when your true local small businesses are gone because they can’t compete with a large local chain store.
